Wall-Badlands Area Chamber of Commerce Board Meeting Minutes, May 20, 2020

In attendance: Bruce Dunker, Dustin Curr, Terry Mohr, Anne Jo Spotted Bear, Kim Handcock, Gordy Kraut, Janet Luz and Lindsy Reagle. Absent: Cindy Hauk. Others Present: Kelsey Clark.
The meeting was called to order by Board Vice President Bruce Dunker.
Anne Jo moved to approve meeting minutes from the May 6 Board Meeting. Second made by Terry. Motion carried.
Gordy moved to approve the 2019 Form 990. Second made Terry. Motion carried.
After discussion the board decided to reconsider a local radio campaign at a later date.
Kelsey relayed concerns about the brochure racks located in the Chamber office and allowing out of state visitors into the Chamber office once the Wall Community Center reopens to the public. Board members discussed ideas to sanitize and decided to pre-package all Chamber Member brochures, ask out of state tourist to wear masks in the Community Center, and practice keeping 6ft distance from visitors.
Community members have been asking when/if the Wall Yard Sale will be held this year. The board decided to reschedule the Yard Sale to August 1; the same weekend as the 4-H Rodeo.
The Board decided to hold the June Chamber Luncheon via Zoom on Monday, June 8.
Kelsey gave a brief Director’s Report updating the board about 2020 community events and results from the Chamber’s digital ad campaign through Robert Sharp & Associates.
Next Board Meeting will be held June 3, at 7 AM via Zoom.
With no other business, Kim moved to adjourn the meeting. Second by Janet. Motion carried.
