"Learn about Wounded Knee from the Lakota viewpoint" You need to be ready to think, learn and do some soul searching during a visit to the Wounded Knee Museum. If you are ready to do these things, do visit this small, well-done museum that is run by the Lakota (Sioux)--the victims of the Wounded Knee Massacre. The museum is right off the highway. It is most appropriate for adults and teens, as the visit involves quite a bit of reading about the different aspects of the massacre and its aftermath.

"Outstanding Dining experience" The food was delicious and the waitress was very helpful. The salad bar was outstanding with many delicious salads and fresh fruit. The chicken fried steak & potatoes were cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend the Elkton House to anyone passing through Wall. After a visit to Elkton House

"The family staff makes the stay the best in the area!" We have stayed during Sturgis week in both 2007 & 2008. The location is convenient to all the Black Hills attractions, the rooms are clean & well kept and the family goes out of their way to make your stay memorable. They don´t raise their rates just to take advantage of you as the chain motels are doing. They even kept an article left behind in 2007 until we arrived the next year! Stayed at Ann´s Motel

"Fascinating...nothing like it anywhere!" We made the stop at Wall Drug during a two week road trip. It was unbelievable. We spent two hours there, but could have spent double that. Wall Drug has food, gift shops, a pharmacy, a playground and animatronics! We wandered through the building, enjoying good food and 5 cent coffee, buying gifts, and running through the water attraction in the backyard. People of all ages will enjoy this little piece of Americana. A must see for all you road trippers out there going through South Dakota.

"Clean, cozy and welcoming!" I stayed here recently when I was traveling across the country. I was tired and a little frazzled after trying to find affordable accommodations in Rapid City with a reliable wireless internet connection. I´m so glad I drove the extra 45 minutes to Wall. John, the owner, treats you like family. The room was spotless and comfortable and 1 block from Wall Drug. I´m looking forward to going back when I´m on vacation! Stayed at the Sunshine Inn
